The first ad here protrays the image that when women see that you like Molson Beer, They end up talking to you or noticing you more because of the molson logo. This second add shows how much a man cares for his beer over anything else.

sexualization in young kids

How much do you keep an eye on what you child is doing or how do you know they didnt learn of the ways of hiding their porn on their laptops or ipods. If you think aww oh well ill just look at the history on our internet explorers. Everywhere I look I see younger and younger children are finding more acess to these new types of porn or anything with nudity. Sexualization in kids have become more common and younger then usual. Some kids as young as 8 can tell you what you do in the sac and then others as old as 14 without knowing. Look at your tv's and look at the ads on any webpage, if you don't notice then its already to late. you will believe that thats just ads nobody cares about ads. When kids get on the internet they do not seem to notice ads but it starts to get in their head of i gotta start to grow up and princesses becomes to Sexy and Erotic while others do not notice. Where starting to get in a society who dosen't care what you look like but by the brands as well. brands have nothing different besides their prices. Now sexualization has been warned but soon to be forgotten.

key roles to mass media

http://rayuso.hubpages.com/hub/Mass-Media-Influence-on-Society on the 1st article named mass media influence

This article showed me how much media affects this society by supplying information about how mass media works and how they influence. one section of the article explains a guys life where he wakes up in the morning reads the paper and drinks cofee. Nowadays when we want to know something we switch to instant access with the internet and then we make desicions on what people put about a topic were looking for. When the articles were explaining this I was thinking when some people run out of the media supply, what would they do? Some people are media freaks and try to know everything. So the key role to this article was informing information.

Media Literacy

Brand names we all must get the same brand or Aeropostale or American Eagle... in order to look "cool" but those are just ways for the media to get more profit out of every consumer. The media always looks for more money and ways to get every cent of spending money. People think it's the clothes and accesories that make you look better but you can get a $15 shirt that looks the same as a $50 shirt and no one would notice until they see the icon of a certain bran. Bran become popular from more commercial that pollute every T.V. shows and set supplemental messages. Supplemental messages hit the T.V. screen of a new cell phone and within a week, more than one student at the school would have it.

Photos That Lie

The pictures that stood out to me where the Osama bin Laden dead picture and the Lib Dems stage "fake pc" photos. They stood out because in the Osama picture tried to make the news a lie when it said that they believe he is to be dead in a bombing where the body is partially identified, and the Lib Dems fake photo stood out on stinkyjournalism because made me wonder if all actors are just in the camera with no emotion to get all photoshoped. I don't think to make people look perfect is great for the society of magizines and actors because if you ever meet them later on you could tell that they were remade photos. I believe the editors are more artful because in the job of taking photos for a magizine they have the most work of photoshoping it all in every little detail possible. Yes I was surprised that fake photos were in the past because I didn't think they had the technology back then to mess around with photos unless they were painted but of course paintings are always going to be different looking then the actual thing. I think if I was a photojournalist I would not temper with the photos because people want to see the truth in news reporting not the quality of how it looks.

Talking with Terry

I think that some of the advantages that Terry Seguin uses in two way communication is to see if his audience likes what his interveiw or newcasts and if the audience changes then Terry would find out also. I think journalism would be taught best with hands on training because each interview is different and every person is different, so hands on training would be the best to know how people would respond to certain question to learn the possibilities of answers. I think the time frame on tv and radio interviews would affect the public because if they werer interested in the interviews they would probably chose radio for the longer time frame. There is way to much unimportant news in our society today and I agree with Terry that there should be news based on things that affect our lives.
