When Interviews Go Wrong

Barbara Frum had kept her interviewing style during this interveiw with Sandra Good by keep asking her Questions that has something to do with what Sandra just did and later on got the right information about it. The outcome of what would happen if Barbara Frum had been more confrontational it could possibly that Sandra would hang up the phone or actually give information if she might of been more straight to the point but nobody can predict how someone's reactions would have went if something went different. I think that Barbara's effecting question was if Charles death was justified and Sanadra answer was yes. It was effective because it proves Sandra dosen't mind killing people to get to the point of making everyone believe her way of saving the world or at least making it a santcuary but in my opinion how could it be a place of good if you had to kill people who dissagreed with you because your becoming evil or making evil descision to get there. Some good question to have for preparing for an interveiw are different ways of asking the same question incase the interviewee went off topic and you had to bring up something that had to do with the person beliefs in order to get them to give the information your looking for. I learnt from Frum's interview that you cannot judge if the questions are going to go your way so you just have the get the know the person a bit more and keep on talking until you get to the point where your question would not bother the interviewee anymore. I would like to interview Oli Herbert who is the lead guitarist for the Metal band All That Remains and I would ask how he got to this band or was he here since the beginning. I would also get to see how they came up with the name for this band. I dont think that Oli would be a hard interview because most metal band guys are approachable and easy to talk to.
